Digitalisation of MUA’s Health Insurance Services

Health by MUA

 

MUA has been working since 2016 on enhancing the digital tools and services provided to our Health Insurance clients. That year saw the launch of a dedicated Health Portal, allowing clients to access their health policy details, submit & track claims and interact with the client service team. Enhanced features were added in November 2019 with a Client Portal, with client access to a wider variety of general insurance services.

 

After three years of preparation, development, and testing, MUA migrated to a new Health Insurance IT System in the last quarter of 2021 - moving to a modern, dynamic, connected, and user-friendly platform. We expect positive gains in terms of efficiency, productivity, time, and resources, with a reduction in low-value, repetitive tasks. By connecting our health platforms, the ultimate goal is to enhance intermediary and client experience. 

 

In early 2023, we launched a dedicated mobile application Health by MUA, that allows clients to submit their health claims from the comfort of their home and at their convenience.

 

With Health by MUA clients have access to their policy details, coverage, limits and the remaining amounts for themselves and your dependents. The "Snap & Send" feature allows users to file claims promptly and track the reimbursement progress in real-time. Clients are also able to contact their MUA agent, request a call back, and pinpoint their nearest branch using the app. New features will be added in the coming months to given clients access to a variety of other services.

 

MUA’s digital transformation will continue with further enhancements to the customer journey, both in terms of inpatient and outpatient experience.
