2022 was a year characterised by economic turbulence and geopolitical tensions. MUA was not immune to the impacts of volatile equity markets, rising interest rates and especially of unexpected high inflation which led to higher cost of claims.

Group CEO’s Report
During 2022, Mauritius and the markets within which we operate in East Africa emerged positively from the health crisis. Hotels and flights were full, employees have returned to the office and we feel a return to a certain “normality”.
